Welcome to Rainbowland

We're less than three weeks from the release of RAINBOWS AND RAINDROPS. To say we're excited for you to meet Rain and her band of misfits would be an understatement.

We have a lot of fun things planned for the build up to the release of the first book in the RAINBOWLAND SERIES on April 18th. Interviews from those who made the book come to life. (Like that from our very own cover model!) Teasers. And posts that get to the root of what this series is all about.

We're calling it: #countdowntorainbowland

So we thought, what better way to start the countdown than to introduce you to the world we've created. And perhaps more importantly, why we created it that way.

When you read the book you will notice that we never mention a specific location. This is done on purpose. The town that Rain and her friends live in is every person's town. It has rolling hills and mass forests you can get lost in. Bodies of water with no name and roads that literally lead to nowhere. A local pizza joint and tattoo parlor. And a high school with students who seem not to fit in.

But they do. They fit their own mold and band together in a way we all want our friendships to be. The circumstances they find themselves in may not seem fair to an outsider, but they don't see it that way. With their best friends by their sides, life is just as it should be.

~~~
Another part of the world we've created that you might find interesting is that there are no last names (except for one. Can you find it? :)) This is also done on purpose.
Our goal for the series is for any person who picks it up to see themselves in these characters. No matter your age, race, gender, a part of them resonates. You can relate to the struggles they go through, and heave a sigh of relief as they persevere.
These characters are created to remind us to live our lives. And that, with our friends in our corner, we can overcome anything.
So that's an introduction to Rainbowland.
April 18th is right around the corner! Make sure you add it to your Goodreads list here.
